A few short bits today

  • Overall excitement at Ethical Towers today. Top tip guru Dumb Little Man has kindly published our little contribution on their not so dumb pages.Thank you DLM for giving the Ethically Challenged a voice!
  • image: The GreenShows.
  • Encouraging news for responsible fashion: when the New York Fashion Week puts on a 3 day show entirely focused on ethical designers, we know eco clothing has finally said good bye to drab. Running from 12 to 14 September, The GreenShows Eco Fashion Week has selected 10 designers with particular commitment to social and environmental responsibility. You can see a list of designers here. And no, I did not find any shoes in there. The search continues.
  • Competition! Screams of gratitude for the first 93 answers to our latest domestic drama: is there a way to get rid of rodents ethically? Is there a need to exterminate the frightening little pests ethically? I promise to consider all suggestions in my quest to make mine a less than terrifying home again. The winner piper gets a lovely little shot of our new pet leaving my Hamelin cellar for greener – or even cheesier - pastures.

  1. Great blog!
have you tried ultrasonic mouse traps? I think they work by using a frequency that's really annoying to mice. Or is that cruel?
    Good luck.

  2. Aah, ultra-sonic was my suggestion too! Or wait, is there a difference between the ultra-sonic and electro-magnetic devices to keep them away?

Great blog! Very nice to know there are some fashionable stuff to buy that is also ethical.
